Daniel repaired and restored a precious attaché case which was in a very sorry state with the lid detached and bowed and handle that had disintegrated. He did magic with his craftsmanship and I am so delighted to have it back in full working order. Some before and after shots here

Amazing repairs to old bag. Grandfather’s old case had failing stitching, bottom falling out, ripped lining. Nearly threw out. Searched internet and Daniel looked like only possibility. Via few emails and photos he reckoned might be possible. Great service. He restitched, cleaned, coloured and relined. Stunning. Very pleased. Kept us well informed throughout restoration.

I am over the moon regarding the work done by Devon Leather Care. About a month ago I contacted Daniel and had an exchange of emails regarding a 100 year old briefcase owned by my late grandmother, which she used in World War 1 and which I desperately wanted to bring back to life. I had already tried a number of companies but they'd turned the challenge down as the briefcase was in such a bad condition. Daniel look it on, gave a price and date of completion. Three weeks later the briefcase arrived by Royal Mail. The work he has done is amazing. The brief case is now back in one piece and good for at least another 100 years. It's so reassuring to know that there are still craftsmen around.

Beautiful repair of a broken handle on a 1950s Fernand Desgranges crocodile handbag, what was required was explained carefully, quote provided, the repair was done in a very timely manner. Excellent work and communication. As an antique and vintage bag collector I would definitely recommend for leather repairs..

Daniel took looked at photos of a leather case from the 1960s in a poor state and offered to put it right. It has come back all restitched and now functional again. As a family item this is so brilliant. Highly recommended.

Daniel carried out an outstanding repair job on a very damaged briefcase belonging to my girlfriend's late grandfather. At our request he also added a very tasteful shoulder strap to add to the utility of the bag. Throughout, Daniel's communication was very clear and quick. Leather handle on my clarinet case fell apart. Daniel has replaced it with a really sturdy, solid leather, hand-stitched handle in a similar style to the original, which will certainly outlive the rest of the case! I sent it by post, he turned it around in a week & returned it at a reasonable price for a craftsman's work. I would recommend strongly based on my experience.

And in just two weeks it was transformed.
Broken and worn leather was revived beyond recognition and the metal now shines brighter than I can ever remember it doing so.
I am so grateful for the care taken to return it to its former glory, and my Father would be very proud to see it looking so handsome.
