About Devon Leather Care

Devon Leather Care is owned and run by me, Daniel Darlow.  I’m an experienced, qualified leather technician, and I love the art of leathercraft and restoration..

This is me pictured in my Devon Leather Care workshop at Broadsands, Paignton, Devon.

I was trained by a world renowned leather expert in Harrogate, Yorkshire, covering leather cleaning, repair, dying and pigmentation, and since then have worked hard to perfect my craft.

I developed the restoration side of the business from here.

I spent most of my working career in furniture retail until leatherwork became a favourite hobby of mine and has become a passion.

As well as leather repairs and renovation, I also manufacture a range of high quality, personalised leather items such as aprons, valet trays and custom wallets.

In my leisure time, I’m an active member of Brixham Archers, and I make specialist leather products for the field archery community, including arrow quivers, leather arm guards (arm bracers) and leather bags all of which are beautifully finished.
